Community Foundations for Lancashire & Merseyside is seeking an experienced person with strong online fundraising and marketing expertise to launch and develop our presence and activities on LocalGiving.com via a 12 month appeal.

Owned in part by the UK’s Community Foundations Localgiving.com is a website created to protect local community organisations and strengthen those organisations by providing an online homepage; giving them the opportunity to take advantage of this giving marketing tool to enhance their profile, raise funds and secure volunteers online.

With the support of a LocalGiving.com Officer and a dedicated PR agency, you will seek and secure media partners, community organisations to sign-up, match funding for online match challenges, donations via the website and in-kind corporate support. You will also deliver workshops with expert partners to support community groups as they establish and develop their presence and fundraising on the website. Based in our Liverpool city centre office you will work with our Philanthropy Development Team, reporting to the Team’s Director.

You will develop plans and deliver against financial and non-financial targets as part of a Social Action Fund project with LocalGiving.com across Merseyside and Lancashire and also a Transforming Local Infrastructure Fund project in the Merseyside borough of Wirral, raising at least £120,000 during the 12 month appeal.

We are seeking someone who has a proven track record in marketing and in fundraising, especially online, as well as project and partnership management. Willingness to travel is essential and travel expenses will be covered in line with our policy.
