Sources of new funds 2009-10

This chart show significant changes from last year.
Seventy five per cent of funds by value are from non-statutory sources. The value of funds set up by individuals and families increased from 19% to 27%, whereas new funds from statutory sources accounted for just 25% (44% in previous year). Dormant trusts rose from 3% to 13%. Funds from companies, charitable trusts and others were roughly similar to previous year.

People
The equivalent of 328 fulltime staff are employed. Across the network there are 3465 volunteers (3331 in 2008-09) including 2,049 panel members and 746 trustees. Altogether at least 4,018 people are involved in supporting donors and community foundations.
