DIGITS (Donor Intelligence and Grants Information Tracking System) is the only database system specifically designed for use by community foundations. With DIGITS, all the processes of managing contacts, grants, donations and funds are integrated into a common database. Its development has been heavily subsidised by CFN and includes a national network of support.
Many other ‘off the shelf’ databases available to the voluntary sector only record donations tracking or grant processing. DIGITS records both processes through from initial pledge or enquiry to finally recording the transactions in the fund management module. DIGITS also contains a comprehensive contact management module that amongst other features provides the tools to manage the complete donor development life cycle. Using this feature you can build individual donor programs that will ensure (through system prompts) you maintain regular contact from nurturing initial leads to keeping mature donors in touch with the foundation’s activities.
DIGITS is used by nearly two thirds of UK community foundations, as well as by foundations and trusts in the Irish Republic and Australia.
